About Wayama Japanese Restaurant

Wayama turns an unassuming Sylvania dining room into a quiet window to Japan, anchored by an authentic, rotating kaiseki feast. It is run by a dedicated family crew who guide guests through every course. Tables fill quickly in the compact room, especially midweek for the seasonal tasting sets ordered a day ahead. Expect crisp fried oysters alongside dipping sauce and delicate seared wagyu beef carpaccio.

  • Seasonal Pre-Ordered Kaiseki: Seasonal multi-course tasting menus rotate throughout the year and require pre-ordering at least a day in advance.
  • Attentive Table Service: Hosts introduce each course individually across an intimate dining room with a genuine family feel.

Practical planning advice for dining at Wayama Japanese Restaurant

  • Pre-order the Kaiseki in advance

The seasonal Kaiseki menu must be ordered at least one day in advance, making advance reservations essential for this multi-course dinner.
