About Sydney Daifuku Store

Sydney Daifuku Store rolls delicate, fruit-stuffed mochi to order in a quiet Lane Cove hideaway. Patrons come for the fresh chew of traditional wagashi—paired with an iced black bean kinako latte or hot matcha. Tucked inside the Seven H collective alongside a tattoo parlour and collectible cards, this leafy retreat lets you watch each confection shaped by hand before slicing it through with string to reveal fresh strawberries and red bean.

  • Handmade to Order: Mochi skins are shaped and stuffed by hand on-site right when ordered.
  • Seasonal & Classic Fillings: Classic red bean and strawberry alongside rotating blueberry, chocolate, and hojicha.
  • Collective Space: Co-located with tattoo and lifestyle studios in a leafy residential street.

Before you head over

Practical advice on timing, ordering, and arrival for your visit

  • Arrive Early for Fruit Flavours

Popular fresh fruit options like strawberry can sell out toward the afternoon, so plan an earlier visit around midday or morning for the fullest selection.

  • Consider Takeaway During Peak Hours

Fresh daifuku are rolled by hand to order and seating is limited in the quiet suburban complex, making takeaway a seamless choice during busy periods.

  • Allow Time for Street Parking

Street parking on surrounding residential roads can be tricky to navigate, so allow a few extra minutes to find a spot when driving over.
