Set inside a converted Pyrmont church hall hung with gallery art, Blue Eye Dragon delivers refined Taiwanese cooking with a warm neighborhood pulse. Tables fill with crisp-skinned pork mince and chive dumplings, diced beef eye fillet, and wontons tossed in house sauce. Regulars head here for multi-course banquets before shows at nearby Lyric Theatre, while Friday nights bring live blues to the white-clothed dining room. Before heading out the door, guests often grab bags of handmade frozen dumplings straight from the kitchen.
