Book NowAbout Toko Restaurant
Slick and subterranean, Toko delivers modern Japanese plates paired with high-energy Sydney dining on George Street. Deep curved booths soften the underground room, pulling dinner parties into close, unhurried conversations over share plates. Pull up a stool at the sushi counter to watch the knives move across seasonal cuts for the sashimi omakase, or start with Pacific oysters dressed in the kitchen's house dipping sauce. The kitchen treats banquet dining with genuine flexibility, pivoting smoothly for mixed dietary needs across course after course. Charred Tajima wagyu arrives seared medium-rare alongside crisp wagyu gyoza cut by white-soy mustard, finished with cocktails shaken behind the long central bar.
- Intimate Curved Booths: Subterranean cushioned semi-circular booths offer comfortable, close-knit seating away from the busy dining room floor.
- Sushi Counter Dining: Guests at the counter can watch chefs prepare seasonal raw fish, nigiri platters, and custom omakase courses.
- Flexible Banquet Accommodations: Banquet courses and tasting menus easily accommodate mixed dietary requirements, including Alpha-gal, gluten-free, and vegetarian guests.
- Curated Seafood & Wagyu: Pacific oysters chosen specifically for their texture complement house sauce alongside seared Wagyu Tajima and dumplings.
