Book NowAbout Naka Noodle
Hamilton’s upper-level noodle bar serves fiery Sichuan heat without the usual heavy oil slick. Regulars climb the stairs for the spicy stewed beef noodle soup—tender chunks of beef swimming in a deep broth spiked with star anise and málà tingle. Pair those springy noodles with handmade xiaolongbao or spicy zhong dumplings. Service can hit a lull during dinner peaks, but the open-air balcony looks right across Beaumont Street at dusk, perfect for unwinding with a plate of wok-tossed eggplant and beans.
- Chongqing & Sichuan Soups: Deep, slow-simmered broths layered with star anise and Sichuan peppercorns over springy noodles.
- Handmade Dumplings: Delicate soup dumplings alongside pork and garlic chive potstickers and spicy zhong dumplings.
- Balcony Dining: Second-story open-air deck offering dusk breezes and calm views over Beaumont Street.
- Balanced Comfort Fare: Comforting Chinese classics prepared with a cleaner, lighter hand on the oil.
