The room runs brisk and lively—locals pop in for takeaway provisions while day-trippers linger over steaming mugs of cinnamon-chilli hot chocolate. The kitchen delivers rustic staples: thick chicken and leek pies, baked lasagne, and a restorative bowl of house pumpkin soup.
