Rockdale’s compact counter turns out oversized deli sandwiches, traditional sesame ka'ak, and warm, stuffed cookies. A short walk from the station, the shop moves briskly through morning orders and peak lunch queues. The kitchen stacks smoked wagyu with melted cheese and pickles on toasted bread for the Not So Reuben, alongside chicken parm melts and hot honey mortadella. Morning regulars pick up breakfast ka'ak with halloumi or eggs before the menu flips at eleven. Stools fill quickly inside the narrow space, making takeaway to nearby spots an easy pivot. The glass counter up front holds thick cookies with molten centres—ranging from Kinder Bueno to monthly almond croissant specials—washed down with iced strawberry matcha.

    House sandwiches like the Not So Reuben and Parm Melt are stacked generously with premium proteins, cheeses, and house sauces on well-toasted bread to keep diners completely full.

    Sandwich was THICK, it has the flavours of a Big Mac but which chicken instead! As it was lots of pickles/pickle mayo sauce, with cheese and lettuce, hence very flavourful!

    they’re baked fresh on a rotating basis so there’s a good chance you’ll get a gooey, warm cookie. the bueno one is delicious, absolutely filled to the brim. the standout however was the special of the month almond croissant cookie

    There's a sink on the side with self serve tap water that people seem to miss. You can also wash your hands after eating which is a nice touch.
