About Young Henrys - Craft Brewery and Tasting Bar

Tucked off the rail line in Newtown, this working brewery pours its legendary ales straight beside the tanks. The floor smells of warm malt and crushed hops—no polished taproom facade, just raw brewing gear and benches. Regulars drift in for brewery-fresh pours of Newtowner and Motorcycle Oil porter, or build six-pour tasting paddles guided by staff who brew the stuff themselves. Takeaway food is welcome from local spots around King Street, dogs wander between the stools, and afternoon pints flow until early evening.

  • On-Site Working Brewery: Tasting benches sit right beside working brewing tanks and distilling equipment in an operational warehouse.
  • BYO Food Welcomed: Guests are encouraged to carry in takeout or snacks from nearby King Street and Enmore eateries.
  • Tasting Paddles & Fresh Taps: Staff pour customizable tasting paddles spanning fresh Newtowner Pale Ale, seasonals, and the rich Motorcycle Oil porter.
