Carrying the torch of Golden Century, this Darling Square dining room pairs sleek architecture with legendary Cantonese live seafood. Snag a table under the timber ribbons of the Exchange building for lunchtime yum cha—steamed prawn dumplings and dim sum ordered directly from staff and delivered swiftly by tray runner robots. Come evening, tables turn to high-heat Cantonese mastery. The must-order centerpiece remains the wok-tossed live pipis slicked with spicy house XO sauce over a bed of crispy fried vermicelli that catches every drop of savory reduction. Family banquets and celebratory group dinners settle into private rooms or roomy booths for whole steamed fish deboned tableside, stir-fried abalone with salted egg yolk, and ginger-shallot lobster tossed through e-fu noodles.

XOPP carries on Golden Century's legacy with its signature live pipis wok-fried in rich, savoury XO sauce over a base of crisp fried vermicelli noodles that absorbs the sauce.
The house speciality was of course XOPP, Pipis fried in XO sauce with a crispy layer of rice vermicelli at the base.

From butter garlic and truffle lobster to steamed perch and poached live abalone, live tank seafood is prepared fresh and balanced with classic Cantonese technique.
The seafood was very fresh and beautifully prepared. The truffle lobster was rich and aromatic without being overpowering, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

For milestone family birthdays and group events, dedicated banquet staffing takes care of large parties with hands-on service including fish deboning and attentive pacing.
XOPP have fulfilled our request even assigned two of their personnel to attend and cater for us. They are really attentive, the service was amazing, served everyone a good portion, one personnel even deboned a whole cooked fish!

I stayed in the private booths with 8 people and we had a fabulous time. We had more than one dedicated server, excellent food cooked very very well. The atmosphere was great, the private booths and rooms had great views and lighting.

Service was impressively swift, with our dishes arriving promptly despite the restaurant's busy atmosphere.
