About DRY LEAF CAFE

Dry Leaf Cafe pairs relaxed suburban mornings with spiced Himalayan cooking, running an unpretentious Mosman kitchen that jumps easily from classic bacon rolls to steamed momos. Mornings start over two-cup pots of house-brewed oat milk chai or cumin burgers piled high with beetroot. Tables fill easily across differing cravings—whether someone wants a clean grain bowl or spiced goat curry simmered with lentils and rice. Come Friday and Saturday evenings, the room transitions into a laid-back BYO dinner service centered around generous regional thali plates.

  • Nepalese-Western hybrid menu: An all-day lineup uniting cafe staples like eggs benedict and burgers with spiced jhol momos, curries, and chow mein.
  • House-brewed pot chai: House-spiced chai brewed to order in generous two-cup pots, prepared standard with oat milk.
  • Weekend BYO dinners: Friday and Saturday dinner service centered on regional thali platters and a relaxed BYO policy.

  • House-Brewed Spiced Oat Milk Pot Chai

Instead of quick powdered drinks, the cafe serves a specially brewed house spiced chai crafted in a generous two-cup pot prepared standard with oat milk.

The chefs chai was the best I've ever had in Sydney (I think they are on to something with oat milk as standard for this chai). And came in a big two cup pot.
