Sun’s Noodle delivers intense wok hei and unvarnished Hong Kong food-stall cooking from a modest arcade corridor in Rockdale. With barely six tables and a cash-only counter, the room strips away all ceremony. Diners pack the benches for hefty platters of garlic pork chops, sizzling combination hotpots, and fried rice turned out over roaring burners. From the floor, you can hear cleavers rhythmically thudding across cutting boards as fresh pork mince is hand-chopped to order for steamed patties with salted fish.

  • Open-Wok Cantonese Classics: Dishes hit the table straight from roaring burners, featuring peppery pork tripe and chicken soup alongside hand-chopped steamed pork mince patties.
  • No-Frills Walk-In Stall: Dining is restricted to five or six compact tables inside the shopping arcade, running strictly without table bookings on cash only.

    Seating is limited to around five to six tables with no table reservations accepted. Queues form quickly during peak lunch and dinner rush hours, so plan to arrive early or dine off-peak.

    The venue operates without an EFTPOS terminal and requires cash payment, so ensure you withdraw cash before arriving to order.

  • Park at Rockdale Library

    The modest shopfront inside the arcade has minimal dedicated seating, but convenient customer parking is available nearby at Rockdale Library.
