About Nomidokoro Indigo

Liverpool Street’s micro-izakaya channels Tokyo backstreets with tight counter stools and serious drinks. Space is scarce—a 10-seat bar counter and a couple of small tables mean booking ahead is a must. Regulars drop in for the kokushu list printed across empty sake bottles, tracking their pours on paper loyalty cards. From the kitchen, dishes come fast and dense with flavor. Diners point to the agedashi tofu, indigo croquettes, and house miso-pickled vegetables, while the counter chalkboard rotates daily plates like firefly squid and slow-cooked duck breast. A frosty pour of Orion beer on tap washes it down.

  • Curated Sake Lineup: A dedicated curation tracked on paper loyalty cards and presented on empty bottles.
  • Izakaya Small Plates: Savory bites from tender agedashi tofu and indigo croquettes to firefly squid and miso pickles.
  • Tokyo-Style Micro Bar: A narrow 10-seat counter and intimate tables make reservations essential.
