About Little Fu

Tucked away on McLachlan Avenue, Little Fu turns out unpretentious Chinese and Southeast Asian comfort food cooked from scratch to order. Owner-chef Annie runs the floor and the kitchen, folding dumplings by hand rather than relying on frozen stock. Regulars lean toward the crisp duck wraps and rich Padang beef rendang, or the signature Hai Nan chicken rice ladled with a fragrant Thai-style ginger sauce. The room stays comfortably calm without loud music blaring overhead—ideal for quiet dinners over a glass of wine or your own BYO bottle.

  • Scratch-Cooked Dumplings & Fare: Dishes and dumplings are made to order from scratch by the solo owner-chef, skipping frozen shortcuts entirely.
  • BYO & Wine by the Glass: Every bottle on the wine list is poured by the glass, with BYO wine also welcomed at the table.
  • Quiet Dining Room: A low-decibel, relaxed dining room lets guests easily converse across the table without shouting over loud music.
