Book NowAbout Lotus The Galeries
Modern Chinese dining tucked one floor up in The Galeries, overlooking the sandstone curve of the Queen Victoria Building. Break-off rooms give group dinners breathing space from the CBD rush outside. Patrons lean on the kitchen for fast-moving share plates—steamed lobster and prawn dumplings, crisp salt-and-spice squid, and wok-fried wagyu flank with black pepper and baby corn. The cellar leans into regional NSW producers, pairing crisp local pours with traditional chili and rich braises.
- Private rooms with QVB outlooks: Smaller break-off rooms adjacent to George Street offer intimate group seating with views directly across to the Queen Victoria Building.
- Contemporary share plates & NSW wines: Fast-paced dim sum, seafood, and wok-fried wagyu share plates pair alongside an expanded wine list spotlighting local NSW vineyards.
