Look near a frequent train station in the CBD or inner harbour rather than trying to be equally close to every sight. Circular Quay, Town Hall and Wynyard each offer different walking routes.

Which Sydney area is a practical base for eight days of sightseeing?
I want the harbour, Bondi and perhaps the Blue Mountains, with a comfortable hotel but no need for luxury facilities.
