Where can a plant lover browse around Sydney?

I am interested in living plants and gardens rather than only cut flowers, and may have access to a car for one day.

Start with a botanic garden for plant displays, then look for a nursery whose current stock suits your interests. A flower market may focus on cut flowers rather than plants to take home.
