What can dads and a teenager do in Sydney if an outdoor event is rained out?

Our weekend plan may be postponed and we need activities that still work in wet weather.

Choose one indoor activity the teenager actually likes, then add a casual meal and keep the outdoor event as a flexible option. Check current tickets and opening hours before travelling across the city in rain.
