How can first-time older visitors balance an Opera House visit and the Blue Mountains?

We are active but want enough time for city sights, a performance or tour and one nature outing.

Put the Opera House booking on a city day and give the Blue Mountains a separate full day. Choose the mountain plan by weather and mobility, then keep the harbour day flexible around the booked time.
