Book NowAbout Toastiesmith Chatswood
Thick Japanese milk bread griddled in butter and split pocket-style holds hefty portions of sukiyaki Wagyu and scrambled eggs for commuters at Chatswood Interchange. Rather than pressing flat slices together, the kitchen cuts only the top of the loaf to trap sauces, slaw, and melted cheese inside. Train-bound regulars stop in for the Wagyu beef don and the signature Eggsmith layered with sweet corn and chives. For a sweeter turn, the taro breeze stacks purple puree with dried rose petals.
- Pocket-Cut Bread: Loaves are sliced only at the top pocket-style to prevent layered sauces and eggs from dripping out.
- Street-Food Fillings: Fillings swap conventional breakfast meats for sukiyaki Wagyu don, yakitori chicken, and mapo tofu.

Discover why commuters and comfort food seekers choose Toastiesmith Chatswood for loaded egg toasties.
Pocket-Cut Loaves That Contain Every Drop
Thick-cut slices are sliced solely along the top while leaving the base intact, preventing heavy sauces, egg, and meat from spilling during transit.
The bread is so ingeniously cut that only the top is opened and the bottom remains uncut so none of the filling falls out.
Ivy Ng Prompt Station-Side Service on the Go
Situated immediately by the Chatswood station entrance, the kitchen turns orders around smoothly for transit commuters seeking hot meals to go.
The best parts are the taste of the food as well as the swift service.

Practical guidance on queues, seating, and ordering on the go.
Expect Lunch Queues
Lunch and peak transit hours often see queues forming out the door, though counter staff process orders efficiently for commuters on the move.
Plan for Takeaway
Seating inside is minimal and tables can be cramped during rushes, making takeaway the easiest and most practical option.
Handle Top-Heavy Toasties Carefully
Heavier loaded toasties like the Taro Breeze and Wagyu Don are stacked generously toward the top, so hold them level when unboxing to avoid accidental spills.
