Tucked directly opposite Gordon Station, this Upper North Shore cafe redefines suburban brunch with seasonal ingredient takeovers and Sydney’s first matcha tasting flight. Regulars drop in for the five-shot matcha flight featuring Kaizen matcha from Uji—sampling variations from jasmine cold foam to strawberry and coconut. Seasonal menus showcase Manjimup black truffles across savory staples, like chewy udon coated in black garlic butter dashi with chashu and an onsen egg. The feast winds down with a slice of savoury-sweet truffle basque cheesecake capped with prosciutto and parmesan.

    The Truffle Creamy Chashu Udon was easily my favourite. The udon was perfectly chewy, coated in a rich black garlic butter and dashi sauce, then topped with generous slices of fresh truffle, tender chashu and a silky onsen egg.
