About The Shop & Wine Bar

Bondi veterans point straight to this Curlewis Street tuck shop for daytime sandwiches and wine-fuelled evenings. The footprint? Minuscule. The output punches well above its weight. Early risers grab pavement tables for flat whites and poached chicken rolls, catching the coastal sun alongside passing dogs. Sourdough runs thick, and the gluten-free bread holds its own against any bakery loaf in town. Come dusk, the room flips into a buzzing enoteca. Diners squeeze in for $25 pasta night, chasing rigatoni with slabs of focaccia and chilled reds poured by staff who know their drops. If you order chips, expect a classic bag of Smiths on the counter.

  • Day-to-Night Dining: Transitions from morning flat whites, BLTs, and fresh salads to evening cheese plates and curated wines by the glass.
  • $25 Pasta Nights: Weekly evening service featuring comforting bowls like rigatoni paired with house focaccia and wine.
  • Al Fresco Street Seating: Intimate pavement tables catching coastal sun, perfect for unwinding and dog-watching along Curlewis Street.
