If actual swimming matters more than collecting three names, spend longer at one suitable beach and check the day's surf and lifeguard advice. Not every scenic shoreline is a safe swimming spot.

Choose one main beach outing per day. Bondi and Watsons Bay can be combined if you are happy with transfers, while Manly deserves time for the ferry and a relaxed meal.
