Should I leave my car outside Sydney and take the train into the CBD?

I will arrive from Canberra on a Friday and only need the car for the rest of the road trip.

Compare the full cost of CBD parking with a station car park, train fares and the time needed to retrieve the car. Do not assume a station permits long-stay parking without checking its rules.
