Sydney · Where to Stay in Sydney

Is a Central Station area apartment a good Sydney base for a week?

We want major sights and a Blue Mountains day trip, with a hotel or apartment around our budget.

A base near Central can work well for the Blue Mountains train and cross-city connections. Check the exact street, room layout and walk to the station, then compare with an equally priced base closer to the harbour if that is your daily focus.
