How should we book a Taronga Zoo animal encounter?

We would like a particular experience and are unsure whether booking happens in advance or only on the visit day.

If sales open on the day, arrive early and check the authorised app or ticket point. Keep an ordinary zoo itinerary ready in case the encounter is full.
