Do the Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley each deserve an overnight from Sydney?

Keep at least one unscheduled Sydney day so a weather-dependent outing can move without displacing other plans.

For each place, compare a long day trip with an overnight using the specific activity and transport you want.

Plan the two regions separately; the attractions and travel directions make a combined single day very rushed.
