Down a discreet Pitt Street stairwell waits a moody basement lounge spinning exclusively on wax. It is where the city's hospo crowd slips away to decompress, sliding into curved leather booths under low red lamps. Behind the counter, bartenders work dedicated stations, turning out cold dirty martinis and negronis alongside daily 4–6pm drink specials. Early-evening quiet builds into a packed room, and come Monday nights, full funk and soul bands take over the floor. Night-shift regulars often grab a table for the food alone—juicy smoked burgers, crisp buttermilk fried chicken with pickles, and late-running bar orders that carry straight past midnight.

    I highly recommend the buttermilk fried chicken! 🍗 It’s a must-try for me. The super cripsy texture paired with crunchy pickle slices 🥒 and a creamy ranch dressing, topped with a few small chili peppers (the chicken itself isn't spicy) 😋😋
